my Dietz Comet restored. well since i stay home 24/7 anyway being on lock down is no big deal. special thanks to Scott MacDonald who called me 1 day and had me come over. lo and behold he gave this to me. this relc was used in the .30s to mid '60s for the boy scouts. it produces 3 candle power, with a 3/8 x 6 cotton wick. holds about 8 oz of fuel

family, hope everyone is enjoying the week so far. a shout out to Mr. Yu not Y o u in Saugus for hooking me up with 9 Lanterns. as this is 1 of that i have just recently restored. late '40s DIETZ No-100 with a 3/8 wick and can burn up to 100 hours on 1 fill of the fount. special thank you to Cheryl Lynn Renteria for advising on detail work. ie: wire wheel the burner cover globe plate and filler cap clean up to bring out the natural metal shine out.
