The Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakeries in the Metro Birmingham area opened with unparalleled expedition (within three months of one another), unprecedented in the 25-year history of the Nothing Bundt Cakes Franchise - by a long shot. Both our Birmingham Bakery (October 2016) and Hoover Bakery (January 2017) are locally owned and operated. Thus far, our cakes have been welcomed with open arms throughout
Metro Birmingham and surrounding areas. We hope to spread our love of baking and mission of sharing with the community for years to come. And we are just getting started! In addition to being actively involved in the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce, the Homewood Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce and the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce; we are firm believers in community involvement and charity. In July 2018, we decided that Make-A-Wish of Alabama would be our “Signature” Charity and are in the preliminary stages of laying the foundation for ways/means in which we can and will be frequent faces during “Wish Granting” activities. It is our goal to make it a top priority to ensure the young ones' “Wish” is memorable and one of substance. Moreover, we are gearing up our fundraising efforts with Make-A-Wish of Alabama and in this partnership, hope to begin making those wishes come true - faster. Our culinary philosophy is relatively straightforward in that to find the perfect recipe; you first need the perfect ingredients. And that is what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. The cakes they prepared were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection. And perfection is those decadent, slowly melting bites, we all know and love. We are excited about the future of Nothing Bundt Cakes - Birmingham and hope that our cakes become a Birmingham staple for years to come. Most of all, thank you, our customers for getting us off to such a strong start in a region where there is no shortage of talented bakers/cake shops for you to frequent. About The Bash: As a thank you to our loyal fan base, customers, patrons and the citizens of Metro Birmingham, Nothing Bundt Cakes - Birmingham will be hosting our 2nd Anniversary Bakery/Bundt Bash on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The first 50 customers in line, before our 10:00 am opening, will receive a Free Cake (Bundtlet) Every Month for a Year (with the purchase of a bundtlet). Inside of the Bakery, we will have several different celebratory “events” going on while our guests peruse the Bakery, sample our cake and enjoy the festivities of the Bundt Bash. ‘A Celebration with Music!’, an entertainment agency out of Atlanta, will be setting up a photo booth, fully equipped with photo props, etc. for photo ops and help us in making September 29th, 2018 memorable for everyone in attendance. Moreover, 123 Clown, a Birmingham-based Children's Entertainment Agency, that many of you are already familiar with, will be on-site from 10 am - 2 pm, as well. "Skye" from the PAW Patrol will be in the house, along with "Captain America", who will be doubling as this years Face Painter in making everyone “look the part”. Most importantly, 10% of our Overall Sales during the Bundt Bash will be donated to Make-A-Wish of Alabama in helping critically ill children attain the “Wish” of his/her choice. Needless to say, there will be lots of cake, entertainment, and fun for all throughout the day! Come out and celebrate with us; let's see if Bundt Bash #2 can surpass Bundt Bash #1.
