Dusted off my cake decorating supplies to make this dino-mite cake and cupcakes for my grandson! Dinosaur was hand sculpted out of rice krispie and fondant.

Had the honor of making my long-time best friend's daughter's wedding cake last week! Congratulations to Rose & Cody ❤️
Tiered cakes were vanilla cake/cream cheese Oreo filling/salted caramel buttercream and vanilla cake/cookie dough filling/salted caramel buttercream. Cupcakes (not pictured) were vanilla/chocolate chip cookie dough, pumpkin cream cheese & apple cider donut/salted caramel.

A couple of weeks ago I got to make a small, tiered wedding cake for my oldest son’s best friend. He actually grew up just down the road; in the same house my husband grew up in! So special, and I’m wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness! ❤️❤️❤️

In August, I celebrated my 50th birthday with a Strawberry Shortcake themed party! I made a special little cake for my brother-in-law and myself, along with plenty of sweet goodies for everyone to enjoy. It was a berry wonderful day surrounded by family and friends! ❤️🩷❤️

I wanted to share the cake and cookies I made for my grandson’s first birthday this past July! We went with a western theme, one my dad, who passed in May, would have absolutely loved! Our little Oliver Clayton is named after him. ❤️🖤💙

I hope this post finds you all happy & healthy!! Although The Frosted Petal is no longer operating, I still monitor this page and love to share the rare occasion when I break out the decorating bags and create something fun!
Our family had two milestones within the last year...
My first grandbaby was born last July, and we had his baby shower in October. Of course, I had to design the cake and cookies for our sweet little Oliver 🧡🤎💚
In February, my daughter was married, and I made her cake and flowers. She wanted a heart shaped cake with vintage piping, and it turned out so pretty!
