Have you ever thought about becoming a baker, pastry chef, chef, or even owning your own business someday?

2 Fillies Farmstand is looking for 1–2 motivated high school juniors or seniors who want to learn, create, and put their baking skills to the test!

We’ll be working together Thursday & Friday afternoons after school, preparing and baking delicious goodies for our farmstand. 🥖🍪🧁🥐

Ok my farmstand friends, here’s the deal. Life is dealing me quite the hand right now, between a sick dog, flooded lower level, broken down truck, downed horse, messed up hvac system and an entire order of produce going bad in the stand in 3 days it has taken its toll on me, not only financially but emotionally as well. What this means is at the moment I can not afford to take Fridays off any longer to bake for the stand. 😞 How long will this last? I don’t know, ask the universe and let me know what she says 😏, because we are not on speaking terms right now!!!

I will absolutely continue to do individual orders as they come in, big or small as I can prepare for those in the evenings and you can pick those orders up any day you need. It does not have to be the weekend. I keep my sourdough active and I know I have several who get loaves weekly so just let me know a couple days ahead before you need one. I will attempt to try to open at least one weekend a month and will post a pre order menu before hand. I may occasionally offer specialty items up for sale as I bake, because I do love to bake and I love to share it with you!

Thank you for all the referrals, including us in your weddings, birthdays, celebration of life. Just a love for our cinnamon rolls or cookies and you want a sweet treat. It really does make me happy! Once this life storm passes I will try to get back on a regular schedule. As always thank for supporting my small business.

Trying to clear out the last of the produce. There is a box of eggplant I will put in the garbage tomorrow evening. If you want it, come take it for free! There is also some blackberries and little thing of tomatoes you can come grab for free as well. The berries are dripping in the fridge. Not sure if the cold got to them. I have lots of cookies left this weekend which is a little unusual and 8 lemon crumb cakes left and 4 dot cakes left. I have turned the open sign off as I transition to weekends only but it you’d like to stop by on Monday, all remaining bake goods in the stand will be half off, the doors unlocked just go in like normal!

Good morning friends! I have made the decision that effective immediately except for specialty items I will no longer be carrying produce. The temperature fluctuation in the stand is causing my produce to turn very quickly and i am throwing hundreds of dollars away at a time and I don’t like the fruit flies and do not want them in my baked goods. My baked goods are far more popular then vegetables and I’ll
Take that because I absolutely love to bake for you. So because of this I will also be making a
Schedule change. Moving forward I will only be open on the weekends. I will probably start stocking Friday nights because I have several wonderful customers who love to pick up items on their way out of town! But as always, I will post as I am stocking new items! I am working on a platform to allow preorders to be placed for the weekend so I am not over baking because let’s be honest we aren’t living in an economy where anyone can afford waste! Although I am making these changes to the farmstand please know you are absolutely always welcome to place orders for any day of the week even if the stand is not open!!

Good morning farmstand friends!!! The farmstand is open! Key lime pie slices have already sold out! Just a reminder, if there is something you’d love to have and wish I sold, please reach out to me!! If I can make it I’ll gladly do so!! Never be afraid to ask! All the sourdough, produce and cookies are fully stocked! I have a large wedding order I am currently finishing up, once that’s done I will have more items to finish for the farmstand. May not get them out until later tonight or tomorrow.

A special order came in the stand for a homemade Key Lime Pie! She turned out so pretty! Hope you love it!

I made a second one to sell by the slice!! Available in the farmstand fridge tomorrow!! (Saturday)

Baked goods will be loaded into the farmstand at 9 am on Saturday morning!
