It's that time of the year again, where all the winter flavors come out. There are 2 particular flavors that I like to use, chocolate and peppermint. I have put together a Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake with a homemade peppermint whipped cream, a fudge drizzle and crushed peppermint to garnish. I really make peppermint the start but I don't over do it. I know a lot of people are not big peppermint people, but don't knock it until you try it! When Tastystuff gets a hold of a recipe, it just comes out different. So hot your boy up! I have more tricks up my sleeves!

Its been a real fun weekend getting to make cakes for people that have supported me from the beginning. Its also awesome to watch the growth of all 3.
Gabe, since day one I've felt the soul. You're awesome qnd incredibly humble. Just an amazing person all around the board. Not only the music relationship has grown, the brotherhood has also. I want to thank you for all the positive input you've had in my journey the kast few yrs, but anything I put my hands on, you've supported and I want to thank you.
Greg, Ive always liked your style and over the years youve added a lot more into your arsenal. I'm gonna just say it, I think you're badass! I will stay supporting.
Sara, youve supported me since day one also and always given me positive feedback. Always been super nice to my wife and family. There were times I wanted to give up, and some how some way I would get a message or a call making sure I was still keeping my head up and still pushing towards the goals and dreams I was pursuing. Now we're both parents with amazing partners, still doing our dreams but just in different lanes.
So I solute all 3 on growth with the mind, body and most of all the soul. I love all 3 of you and thanks for supporting Tastystuff.

BlackBerry Crumble Cheesecake
I dont know why I havent played with this flavor before but when you flavor blackberries right, they taste GREAT!!! So I got some free blackberrie, I suspended them all the way through the cheesecake so they weren't at the bottom. I had a blackberry glaze on top and then I made the crumb and I positioned the crumb in a circle pattern. Since I started baking I have the nose for flavor and the eyes for 3D color. But over ghe course of years baking I have learned a lot about myself. I am definitely proud of the person I am.

This year at Tastystuff, we made a special young lady a Stitch Spiderman mash up marble birthday cake. It was my pleasure to make this special young ladies cake, cause she is one of my awesome kids and the oldest. I watched this little human stretch into a tall one. Shes a smart very affectionate (to her mama), just kidding she loves me too. This young lady is not a little girl anymore and I can't wait to see what the world has in store. Happy Birthday to DJ Skylar!!!!

My favorite flavor combo. I like to use it not only in cheesecakes but cakes. Definitely one of my favorite flavor combos. The freshness if the blueberries with the tang of the lemon
to me its perfect. Stay tuned to other things I pair with lemon.
