☕️🖤 A Little Brew Haven Update From Our Family to Yours! 🖤☕️
First, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU! To everyone who has continued to support us, been patient with us, and adjusted right along with us as we’ve made a few changes here at Brew Haven over the past couple of months.
Owning a small business in a small community is something I’m incredibly proud of. But the reality is, we are just a little coffee shop with a small team of hardworking girls doing our very best to provide good food, great coffee, and a place where everyone feels welcome.
With the addition of our lunch menu, we’ve had to make a few adjustments to find a schedule that works best for our business, our employees, and our families.
Our updated hours are:
☕️ Tuesday – Saturday: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
☕️ Sunday & Monday: CLOSED
We also want to mention that on slower days, we may begin cleaning and closing down the kitchen a little earlier than 2:00. We appreciate your understanding as we work to minimize waste and keep things running efficiently.
Now, I want to share a little something from the business owner’s side of things.
For the past two years, we’ve poured so much of ourselves into Brew Haven. Between serving customers, preparing food, ordering supplies, cleaning, and spending one of our days off prepping for the week ahead, six days of work can quickly turn into seven.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something important.
It’s not always about making more money. Sometimes it’s about making more time for the things that matter most. 🖤
I needed a break. My girls needed a break. And we all deserve the opportunity to spend time with our families, enjoy our lives outside of work, and come back feeling refreshed and happy to be here.
Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to own a successful business. I want to own a business where my employees genuinely enjoy coming to work. A place where we laugh, support one another, and don’t feel like we’re constantly running ourselves into the ground.
A happy team makes for a happy little coffee shop, and that matters to me more than you know.
We’ve also had a few extra days here and there when we’ve been closed, and I want to touch on that as well.
We know consistency is important, and we certainly don’t take our customers’ time or support for granted. But we’re also human. We have families, children, celebrations, special occasions, and community events that we want to be part of, too.
With such a small staff, sometimes staying open means someone has to miss something important. And sometimes, those events are about supporting one of our very own.
One thing I’ve always believed is that Brew Haven isn’t just a workplace. We’re a family. And when one of our girls has something special happening, we want to show up for her. Sometimes that means all of us showing up together.
So if you happen to see that we’re closed on a day we’re normally open, please know there’s usually a meaningful reason behind it.
We can always open the doors and make another dollar tomorrow. But we can’t get back a family celebration, a special milestone, or the opportunity to be present for someone we love.
And I’ve learned that those moments are worth protecting.
I never want my girls to feel like they have to choose between having a job they love and having a life they enjoy.
We’re a small business, but we have some pretty big hearts. 🖤
As we celebrate a little over TWO YEARS of Brew Haven, I hope you all know just how grateful I am. You have supported us through changes, growing pains, new menus, crazy busy mornings, and everything in between.
We’re still learning, still growing, and still figuring out what works best for our little coffee shop. But one thing hasn’t changed, and that’s how much we appreciate this community.
Thank you for allowing us to do what we love while also giving us the grace to enjoy the lives we’ve worked so hard to build outside these four walls.
We hope you’ll continue to support our little Brew Haven family for many more years to come! ☕️🖤
