🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend Hours 🇺🇸

Brew Haven will be closing today at 11:00 AM, and we will also be closed tomorrow and Monday so w can spend time with family and observe the holiday weekend.

We hope everyone has a safe, blessed, and wonderful Memorial Day weekend filled with laughter, family, and making memories.

As we enjoy the extra time together, let us also remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. Today is more than cookouts, lake days, and long weekends. It is a day to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Tomorrow, Brew Haven will be CLOSED as we take the day to celebrate the amazing moms out there including the hardworking mamas behind this little coffee shop. 💐 Amy, Delores, Kaitlyn and myself.

Running a small business means a lot of early mornings, long days, and sacrifices, so tomorrow we’re taking the time to slow down, be present, and spend the day with the people who matter most. ❤️

To all the mothers, bonus moms, grandmas, and women who love so big every single day… we see you, we appreciate you, and we hope you have the most beautiful Mother’s Day.

Hey Brew Haven family! ☕️

We will be closing early today at 10:30 AM.

We wanted to make it in this morning to get you your coffee fix before taking care of some things in our own lives. And I’ll say it again we’re human too, and we’ve got things that need our attention outside of the shop.

We appreciate your understanding more than you know. Your support allows us to keep showing up and giving you our best every single day. 🤍

We’ll be back to our regular hours on Sunday, and Delores will be ready to take great care of you!

We are SO excited to finally say…

Chris came through for us today and got everything fixed up, and we are officially up and running. You have no idea how much we’ve missed seeing all your faces 😁 and getting back into our routine with you all.

Well friends… I wish this update came with better news.

Our espresso machine technician was here today, and unfortunately we will need to remain closed through Thursday, with plans to reopen Friday morning.

A part had to be ordered that he didn’t have in stock, and it will arrive first thing Thursday. Once it’s in, he’ll get us back up and running so we can welcome you all back Friday.

I won’t lie this absolutely breaks my heart. Brew Haven isn’t just a business to me… it’s my passion, my routine, and my place to connect with all of you every single day. Being closed this long is not something I take lightly.

But just like I’ve said before… some things are simply beyond our control.

And to clear up the rumors:
👉 No, we have NOT closed down.
👉 No, we are NOT going anywhere.

We just had our biggest piece of equipment go down and we’re doing everything we can to fix it as quickly and properly as possible.

To those of you who have shown patience, kindness, and understanding… thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how much that means during moments like this.

We miss our daily coffee dates, our conversations, and seeing your faces more than you know. 🤍

God answers prayers. 🙌

Y’all… I just got a phone call that honestly felt like a little miracle. A gentleman who works on espresso machines out of the Kansas City area reached out and is going to make it a point to come down and take a look at our machine. He’s planning for tomorrow, but for sure by Tuesday at the latest.

If you know anything about these machines, you know how big of a deal that is and how much of a blessing it is that I may not have to haul this thing all the way to Texas.

We are so incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. This is one of those situations that is completely out of our control, and as much as I wish I could snap my fingers and fix it, it just doesn’t work that way sometimes.

I do know we will be closed tomorrow for sure. As for Tuesday, I’m praying hard we’re back up and running but if not, I’m already thinking of a way to give back to this amazing community that continues to support us even on our hard days. You all deserve that and more.

🚨Brew Haven Update 🚨

This is not how I envisioned my Saturday ending, and it truly breaks my heart to have to say this… but Brew Haven will be closed for a few days.

Something happened to our espresso machine overnight, and the only thing I can think of is that it may have been hit by lightning. Nothing else in the building was affected, but I came in this morning to flickering lights on the machine and the boiler not kicking on. It worked for just a brief moment while there was still water in the boiler, but once that was gone… it was done.

This isn’t a small piece of equipment I can just “push through” with and hope for the best. This is a $30,000 machine, I have reached out to the company that helped me purchase it, but unfortunately they are closed on the weekends. I will be contacting them first thing Monday morning. If it comes down to it, I will be loading it up and taking it to Texas to the nearest technician whatever it takes, I will get it fixed.

The reality is, coffee makes up about 75% of our business, so opening for just food isn’t sustainable. And while most of you were incredibly kind and understanding today (and I cannot thank you enough for that ❤️), there were a few interactions that reminded me how hateful and hard it is to tell people “we can’t serve you” right now. Rather than continue to disappoint anyone, I’ve made the decision to close until we are fully up and running again.

As much as this hurts, I can’t help but feel like maybe this is God’s way of telling me to slow down. I have worked 106 days straight, minus a quick two-day getaway… and maybe this is my reminder to take a breath, reset, and come back stronger.

We will get through this. Brew Haven isn’t going anywhere. We will be back up and operating before you know it. .
