Most recipes are from my maternal Italianโบ๏ธGrandma, Great Grandma, my Mom, & her eight sisters. Along with their two brothers (for a total of 11 children), my Great Grandparents-Gervasio & Pepina DeSantis Nanni-and Grandparents-Vincenzo & Antonia Nanni DeMatteis-possibly had the largest Italian family who originally settled on Butlerโs South Side. They emigrated from Abruzzo, Italyโค๏ธover 125 yrs ago.
