I’ve been trying to slowly work my way back into baking and focusing on my business!

I baked a couple of new recipes for coworkers yesterday and I would say they were a huge success.

So I present to you… Snickerdoodle Banana Bread! This will now be going on my menu (along with a better picture 😂) as I work on a complete menu to share for easy ordering!

I’m hoping for more news as time goes on but I want to still thank everyone who is still constantly supporting me, even during my little hiatus the last couple of years. Paige’s Pastries and Desserts is such an important part of who I am. Someone I have lost in recent years but I’m trying so hard to find again. Please continue reaching out and ordering.

And hopefully, new holiday menus will start coming out soon! ❤️ (Unfortunately skipping Easter as it is so close 🙁)

Happy Saturday! It has been awhile and I truly apologize! I have been figuring out my future with my full time job but am ready to keep baking!

First up, it was a beautiful little girls 1st birthday this past week and got to celebrate her today! It was a ”Lucky One” themed party so why not have Lucky Charm Rice Krispie Treats?!

The cupcakes are from her actual birthday and just a fun, spring feeling design!

I’ll be down for about a month after I had a lump removed from my foot yesterday.

But that just gives me time to start thinking about Paige’s Pastries and Desserts future!

Here is what I know right now:
-I will be doing Thanksgiving and Christmas orders
-I’m going to start looking in different markets to sell some things
-I’m looking into gift basket/ small gifts that will last a little longer (cookie mix jars maybe 😉)
-I’ve missed baking for people and can’t wait to do it again more often.

What I don’t know:
-I’m looking into fun Halloween items for sale but with Halloween being only a few weeks after a month since surgery, I don’t know for sure if I’ll be healed enough. (Crossing fingers)

For those that don’t know, I became a teacher last school year and with teaching a hard group of kids and also working on my teaching certificate, I was burnt out and had no energy left for baking. But I want to start again and when it comes time, I’ll need all of your help to start getting my name back out there! I want to provide my best for everyone and I appreciate all the support everyone has given over the years.

Life has been a little crazy around here as I adjust to being a full time teacher.

BUT that doesn’t mean I’m not still taking orders! I had decided to take a break through Christmas to get myself set.

But it’s 2025 now. And it’s time for Valentine’s Day orders! I am currently getting things figured out and will be offering a limited menu due to how much time I have and Valentine’s Day is the end of the week (meaning no weekend prep time). I’ll also be moving at the beginning of February. 😬 But I’ll have some newish items to post in the next couple of weeks!

Thank you for your continued support with my true love of baking. If it made enough, I’d do it full time again. But unfortunately Maryland doesn’t let me do that 😞
