We've got everything dusted off and cleaned up. Will be heading out to St. Thomas area in just a little bit. We will be blowing out the winter cobwebs this weekend at the spring tractor show at Twin Bridges. This will be the first time we've ever had the trailer at a Cumberland Valley Antique Engine and Machinery Association event. The weather has been flip-flopping from "rain" to "no rain" to "spotty thunderstorms". Here's to rooting for "no rain"!!! Have a great weekend everybody! If you're sitting on your butt, come to the tractor show- it's more than just tractors!!! Something for everyone!

This fine young man is Tyler Myers. He is an up-and-coming cart racer from Upton, PA area, and is sponsored by the Monkey Bread Factory. The weather hasn't cooperated with the racing season, so they haven't had a lot of opportunity to race yet this year. If the forecast holds out, this weekend will be the first time out for Tyler in his new cart. If your family finds a weekend where you are looking for something enjoyable to do, go cheer for Tyler while he turns laps at Cove View Speedway in Warfordsburg, PA. There is nothing better than to see families working together at a hobby that teaches young kids that motivation and determination in this world can pay dividends that an X-box can't. GO TYLER!!!

We will be at the Shippensburg Truck/Tractor Pulls this weekend. Had a great reception at Foundry Day at Boiling Springs, PA last weekend. It was the first real nice weather we've had for our outings this year. For the sake of the food vendors, spectators, and the participants at the pull... let's hope the forecast holds out and we get the good weather this weekend!

Headed to McVeytown, PA this weekend for Country Memories Day. It's a full day, running from 9:30 am - 4 p.m., with a car show, live music, street vendors, live demonstrations, and more! Supposed to be beautiful weather (for once!)

Everything is loaded (including the umbrellas!) to go to PSU Altoona for the Arts Fest this weekend.
Everything was shined up today. Have to give another tip of the hat to Shawn Myers at Fastsigns in Greencastle. Also to his brother Derrick, and Andy Hansen for the work you've done.
If you guys could tweek the weather the way you work your magic on everything else... I'd be set!

The Monkey Bread Factory is headed to PSU Altoona Campus this weekend. The Blair County Arts Festival is a large event held Sat and Sun, with art exhibits, crafts, live bands, and children's activities.
We will be set up near the stage in the food court, so we'll be shaking our booties all weekend!

I'm tired of this monkey running around half naked!!!
By this time tomorrow night, we will hopefully have the rest of the decals on the trailer and be a little more presentable for the rest of the summer. Many thanks to Shawn from Fastsigns in Greencastle for the awesome work on the decals.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at all the street fairs, truck/tractor pulls, and other events in the coming months!!

The Monkey Bread Factory showed up at the 'No One Fights Alone' event in Shade Gap today. The ugly skies this morning must have scared some people away. I heard a number of comments that there wasn't near as many people as they expected. We had a nice, easy day to work on some tweeks in the new trailer. We have some time now to get them ironed out before we get to our next event.
They had a pig roast today. Crazy good! That alone was worth the trip!! A top notch meal like that is hard to find! If you are able to attend this gathering next year... jump on it. You won't be sorry!
A big "Thanks!" to the folks who invited us to the event. A great day for a worthwhile cause!

The Monkey Bread Factory was invited to set up at the 'No One Fights Alone' event in Shade Gap this Saturday. This is a cancer benefit event. We would have a lot of work to get done to be ready for that. Not sure if we could make that happen or not.
But....
If you don't have anything going on... Go check it out!! It's a good cause no matter whose food you eat!
