WHAT IS THE TEAL PUMPKIN PROJECT?

The teal pumpkin project is a simple way to make trick-or-treating safer and more inclusive for the 1 in 13 children living with food allergies and many others impacted by intolerances and other conditions.

Placing a teal pumpkin on your doorstep signals that, in addition to candy, you offer non-food trinkets and treats that are safe for all trick-or-treaters!

MINI CAKES: NO MILK, PEANUTS OR TREE NUTS!

Made for the boys’ birthday party tomorrow!

2 different takes on S’mores cakes!

Yellow cake, marshmallow frosting, graham cracker sprinkles and chocolate sheet on top!

And a chocolate lovers cake with chocolate frosting and graham cracker bark on top!

If I eliminated the marshmallow frosting, these can easily be free of eggs too!

ALLERGY FRIENDLY OPTIONS AT DISNEY!

One of the things we love most about Disney is how well they take care and make sure the food is safe for Antonio.

Whenever we go to a restaurant, (this is Cape May Cafe at the a Beach Club Resort), they get the chef to come out and talk to Antonio, repeat everything back, and bring out a beautiful dish just like this one!

We are so grateful for the service we receive here when we come and are excited to share more of our meals with you this week!

ALLERGY FRIENDLY OREO CAKE!

You asked and finally here it is!

Yes this is Antonio’s birthday cake and it’s free from:
Dairy
Eggs
Peanuts
Tree nuts

Tip for those moms like me who don’t always think before doing because they are on a time limit:

*Do not use a piping bag for an oreo frosting (chunks of cookies kept clogging and I felt like an idiot for not realizing before but that’s ok. Lesson learned).

Thank you so much for making white chocolate chips!
Thanks to those delicious little chips, I was able to make and allergy friendly version of a cookies and cream bar that literally tastes like the actual thing! Oh! And the orange drizzle too 😉

Also, thank you for providing the chocolate cake mix we used in this recipe. Making a tasty and fluffy gluten free cake is definitely not easy and yours by far is the best I’ve had and tastes delicious!

Please wish this amazing kid an awesome birthday!

For those who don’t know, Antonio was the inspiration for Blakes Bakes!

From the very beginning, he couldn’t ever have sweets or birthday cake from a bakery and it was very difficult in the beginning baking for him since he had so many allergies and every year they kept changing a little bit.

Over time, things became easier and figuring out what he could and couldn’t have and playing with recipes was a lot of fun!

Now we are working hard, (yes Antonio participates behind the scenes with ideas and strategies and I love it), to provide our baked goods to others dealing with similar issues.

I’m so grateful to have been blessed with such an incredible son who has such a big heart and is so giving. 😊❤️

🖐 RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOUR A TRADER JOE’S FAN!

I mean let’s be honest, who doesn’t love ?

I am in love with this cream cheese!

So, real talk, as a mom of a son with allergies, not gonna lie, I don’t prefer the taste of many cheese products. It’s been 12 years of trying things and this is one of only a couple of cheeses that he can have that tastes so close to the dairy kind!

If your looking for a tastier cream cheese and can’t have dairy, give this one a try, it’s AMAZING!
