❄️ Four years ago, I had the honor of making Harmoni's very first birthday cake. A few weekends ago, I got to celebrate her turning FOUR! 💙

There is something so special about watching little ones grow up through the milestones I'm invited to be a small part of.

For Harmoni's Frozen-inspired celebration, I created a set of cookies featuring soft watercolor icing, sparkling snowflakes, Elsa silhouettes, and just enough shimmer to make everything feel like it came straight from Arendelle. ✨

One of my favorite parts of this job isn't just creating desserts—it's getting to celebrate with the same families year after year. Thank you for trusting KK's Bakes to be part of these memories. It truly means more than you know. 💙

Every custom cake has its own challenge...
Sometimes it's recreating a favorite character.
Sometimes it's matching a color perfectly.

And sometimes it's making sure every tiny detail is exactly what the birthday child imagined.

This Minecraft cake was one of those projects where precision mattered. Every pixel, every line, every character was carefully piped by hand in buttercream.
Watching the birthday boy light up when he saw his cake made every minute worthwhile.

Hearing afterward that both the family loved the cake—and that the buttercream tasted just as good as it looked—made my day. Thank you for trusting me with such an important birthday!

There’s something special about a rehearsal dinner—the plans are finally coming together, everyone you love is arriving, and the countdown to “I do” is officially on.
I loved creating these custom cookies for a wedding rehearsal dinner and getting to play a small part in the beginning of such a big weekend. 🤍

College is calling, and this sweet celebration was the perfect send-off for Anna as she begins her next chapter at Texas A&M University!

From the classic Aggie maroon and white to the custom "Gig 'Em Aggies" friendship bracelet cookie, every detail was created to celebrate this exciting milestone and the memories waiting to be made in College Station.

One of my favorite parts of creating custom cookies is finding ways to include those little details that make a set feel personal. Whether it's a favorite school, a meaningful tradition, or something unique to the guest of honor, those touches are what make each order one of a kind.

Seeing Anna's mom so excited when she picked these up made my day. Knowing these cookies helped make the celebration even more special is exactly why I love creating for life's biggest moments.

It was such a joy creating this sweet gender reveal cake for Korye and Will as they celebrated the newest little blessing joining their family.

This design features hand-painted buttercream florals created with a palette knife, a subtle honeycomb texture, and tiny bees tucked throughout the cake—bringing their "What Will the Baby Bee?" theme to life in a soft, elegant way. Every detail was designed in Swiss meringue buttercream, making it both beautiful and completely edible.

The best part? Swiping to the last photo to see the moment they discovered whether they were welcoming a little bee or a little he. 💙🐝 (Or should I say... a little he! 😉)
Moments like these are why I love what I do. A cake is more than dessert—it's part of a family's memories. Being trusted to create something for milestones as meaningful as this is never something I take for granted.

Congratulations, Korye and Will! I can't wait to meet your sweet little one. 💛

Meet the unofficial (but very dedicated) KK's Bakes mascot... Reba! ❤️

If you've ever picked up an order from me, chances are you've been welcomed by this sweet girl before I even made it to the door. She takes her job as customer greeter very seriously... especially if she thinks there might be snacks involved. 😂

And of course, I couldn't leave out her best friend, Wanda! These two are always ready to wrestle, chase each other around the yard, and remind us that life is better with a four-legged friend.

Some of my favorite cookie orders have even been inspired by them—from Wanda's first birthday cookies last fall to the little Reba Christmas cookies I tucked into holiday orders as a surprise.

To everyone who shares their home with a furry best friend, give them an extra hug (and maybe an extra treat) from us today.

This custom cookie set was created to honor Sam's 50th birthday with a clean, modern color palette and personalized details. From the vintage-inspired "Est. 1975" cookie to the simple monogram and birthday candles, every cookie was designed to celebrate this milestone in a meaningful way.

I love creating sets that feel just as unique as the person they're made for—because birthdays deserve more than ordinary.

There's something extra special about creating treats that help bring a family together. 💙💛❤️

These Toy Story-inspired sweets were created for visiting grandchildren celebrating birthdays together, and one of my favorite compliments came when their grandma said she was ecstatic that everything coordinated perfectly with the other treats she'd ordered.

From Woody's shirt and cow print to blue skies, fluffy clouds, and matching cake pops, every detail came together to create a celebration that looked just like it belonged.

I love helping families create memories that feel seamless, joyful, and uniquely theirs.

Some cakes become part of a family's story. 🤍

This sweet little farm cake was made to celebrate Callum's first birthday, but my connection with his family goes back much further.

I had the honor of creating his dad's groom's cake.
Then their gender reveal cake.
And now, I got to make Callum's very first birthday cake.

Watching families grow through life's biggest milestones is one of the greatest privileges of my job. Being invited back, year after year, is something I never take for granted.

This little barn cake was full of sweet farm details for a special first birthday, but my favorite picture isn't the styled one...

It's seeing Callum's eyes locked on his birthday candle, surrounded by the people who love him most.

Those are the moments these cakes are really made for.

Happy 1st Birthday, Callum. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your family's story. ❤️
