The science of color- through the lens of lemon buttercream.

First neutralize the yellow by adding violet. Just a touch- then you have pale grey- closer to white. (Yes, it does work.)

Then add royal blue…until desired shade. Customer ordered smoky baby blue for baby shower. Baby blue achieved- add a touch of black to make it smoky.

Fascinating. Perhaps I should have been an artist. (Anyone who has seen me draw knows that was not possible.)

I love learning about color. 😎
