It’s been a WHILE since I’ve posted any cake pictures, but I’m working to get back into the swing of things bc I miss it and you all! Initially things slowed down with the pandemic. We then bought a house so weekends dedicated to creating cakes turned into weekends dedicated to house projects…you know, turning the house into a home sorta thing (3 yrs later and the honey-do list is still as long as ever 🤦🏻♂️). All that to say, I have still been baking! Albeit a few times a year, but those periodic times I have made cakes served as reminders to why I loved it in the first… it’s always been my creative outlet to relieve stress, anxiety and to let the right side of my brain do its thing.
Here’s one those cakes, made for a good friend for her birthday, with her favorite flavors: vanilla white cake w peanut butter frosting, and her favorite colors brought to life with food gels 😍
