Grief and condolences. Not something you normally write about at a baking company. But as we move through life, there are many times you need to reach out to a friend, a coworker, or a loved one as they navigate a loss. It's hard to know what to do sometimes, but you want them to know you're thinking about them.

We have stepped in to help over the years by sending the bereaved a coffee cake or our Dutch apple pie. Why those products in particular? They are comforting, and they can be set out and served at room temperature for people stopping over, or family members who aren't eating a lot and can't think.

If you find yourself wanting to reach out with a gesture to someone who is grieving, let us send over a little bit of comfort during their difficult time.
