Y’all, this is a hard post to write and I write it with elephant tears in my eyes, but after a lot of thought (and plenty of prayers), I’ve decided to close Culture and Crust.
This sourdough journey has been such a blessing—from the early morning bakes to the warm conversations at pickups and markets, I have cherished every moment with y’all. The love and support from this community have meant more than I can put into words.
But as many of you know, I’ve got two little ones, another sweet baby on the way, and I’m still trying to get over this flu sickness. What started as a passion turned into stress, and I realized that right now, my focus needs to be on my family and my health.
I am beyond grateful for every order, every kind word, and every person who made Culture and Crust what it was. Thank you for allowing me to share my love of sourdough with you.
Also, with that being said, I have a lot of sourdough tools that I’d love to sell to another baker for cheap.
