Our specialties include cookies, pastries, and a few extra goodies that you'll see pop up as specials throughout the various seasons and holidays. I'm Rachel, the owner of Cookies & Kisses Bakery! My journey began in Pinedale, Wyoming with Cowgirl Confections, Cakes & Cookies, a business I loved and a clientele I treasured. Several years ago, my family moved to Buffalo, but it just wasn't the righ
t time to revamp Cowgirl Confections. Well, my daughter and I share an immense love of horses. We came to Buffalo with a horse (mine) and a pony (hers). Their boarding location had a couple of minis who we quickly fell in love with, and when our horses were moved to a more permanent location, the two minis joined the gang! Every morning, afternoon, and evening we feed our horses, groom them, give them fresh water, and take care of barn chores, but as we depart for the day, we always give them treats and kiss their noses. We run through the checklist of responsibilities before leaving them every time, and the last item on our list is "cookies and kisses." When I began exploring the possibility of starting a bakery in a new location, I decided I did not want to do cakes again, but really wanted to focus on cookies, French macarons, and pastries. When it came time to decide on a name, there was no hesitation! The bakery had to be "Cookies & Kisses" in honor of the our minis we spend so much time with each day. And while we will not specialize in equine treats (I know, they were disappointed, too!) we hope to bring you some delicious treats that will brighten your day!
