It鈥檚 been a while since we introduced ourselves, so here we go! 馃尭 You鈥檝e probably met Kate at various markets around town, she鈥檚 the owner and baker of Manchester Place! She started the business after moving to Buffalo with her family from Texas, and decided to put her teaching career on hold to pursue her love of baking. A former elementary art teacher, she looks at baking as another way to be creative (in the kitchen instead of the classroom).
Kate started baking at a young age, and gives credit to her Grandma Dorothy for her love of the kitchen. Dorothy鈥檚 influence is seen in many of our bakes, especially the very popular butter tarts!
