💛 A Message to Our El Coquito Family 💛

We want to share that El Coquito is officially closed for business at our 242 Allen St. location. While this chapter is coming to an end, this is not goodbye—it’s a new beginning.

We will continue accepting orders for corporate catering and catering for all types of events, and you’ll still see us out in the community. As always, we’ll be participating in summer festivals, hosting pop-ups, and this summer… 👀 be on the lookout for the El Coquito FOOD TRUCK! 🚚🔥

From day one, your love and support have meant everything to us. We are beyond grateful for every customer, every meal shared, and every memory made.

Here’s to growth, new opportunities, and an exciting new year ahead. 🥂
Thank you for riding with us—always. 💛

📣 Big Announcement from El Coquito’s Owner 💛

After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to sell El Coquito as a turn-key business.

Inflation is at an all-time high, and not being a family-owned and operated business has made it challenging to find consistent, reliable staff. I’ve even had to remove some beloved menu items due to the rising cost of ingredients.

It’s been a beautiful journey, but I’m ready to return to living my life more fully ; to be a present mother, to travel, and to focus on my nonprofit, which will support children and families affected by incarceration.

This chapter isn’t over ; El Coquito will be back, stronger and better than ever. But right now, I’m choosing to prioritize what feels right for me and my family, especially in today’s economy and under the current administration.

That said, this could be an amazing opportunity for someone ready to take the reins and keep the legacy going.
👉 My sacrifice is your gain.

If you’re seriously interested in buying the business, please send me a message to talk more details.

With love and gratitude,
– The Owner of El Coquito

Dear El Coquito Family,
In honor of our owner’s birthday, we’ll be taking a short break and will be closed this weekend. We know — it feels like we just reopened, and stepping away again isn’t ideal, but balance and self-care are essential. The owner will be taking a well-deserved 3-day getaway to recharge.

We’ll be back next week, refreshed and ready to serve you again!
Thank you for your endless love and support — we appreciate you all deeply. ❤️
