📣 Big Announcement from El Coquito’s Owner 💛
After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to sell El Coquito as a turn-key business.
Inflation is at an all-time high, and not being a family-owned and operated business has made it challenging to find consistent, reliable staff. I’ve even had to remove some beloved menu items due to the rising cost of ingredients.
It’s been a beautiful journey, but I’m ready to return to living my life more fully ; to be a present mother, to travel, and to focus on my nonprofit, which will support children and families affected by incarceration.
This chapter isn’t over ; El Coquito will be back, stronger and better than ever. But right now, I’m choosing to prioritize what feels right for me and my family, especially in today’s economy and under the current administration.
That said, this could be an amazing opportunity for someone ready to take the reins and keep the legacy going.
