The Queen City Mile
Congratulations to our own Elise Brady for winning top female in the Kids’ Race with an impressive 5:51! And congratulations to everyone who ran hard and crossed the finish line, especially those who earned shiny new PRs.

Pictured are a bunch of club team athletes, campers, and coaches who raced hard and volunteered at the event.

Thank you to the hardworking thequeencitymile organizers and volunteers for putting on a perfect event. It was one of those nights that make you appreciate how great Buffalo is.

For those in Rochester: Henrietta classes will start in early 2027 and Victor House of Sport classes will return in the Spring

Are you a current or former track and field coach or athlete interested in sharing the sport with kids in western NY? We’re looking for people who are extremely engaging and able to make classes organized and fun for kids of various ages. Teaching and coaching experience is a huge plus.

Coaches start as assistants on various programs with the goal of leading independently in time. Starting pay is $16.50-$19/hr depending on experience, and pay goes up very quickly as leadership potential is shown.

Ideally, we’re looking for candidates who want to coach with us year-round. Weekly hours can range between 2 and 15 hours a week based on what you’re looking for. Must be very dependable, fun, engaging and enthusiastic. Some track and field experience is expected, but we will fully train you on events and provide lesson plans.

That’s a wrap on our 3rd year of camp in Henrietta!
It was great seeing so many returners. Great job to all for embracing the occasional rain and competing hard in the meet.

For our Rochester area families: we’ll be planning more offerings at Dick’s House of Sport (Victor) and Henrietta Recreation. Stay tuned!
