All week long, I’ve been showing you how we can turn photos, book covers, logos, and special designs into personalized cookies. But today, I finally get to share the SWEET story behind this particular order! 💕

These cookies weren’t just for any event…they were for my SISTER’S very first book signing! 🥹❤️

My sister recently celebrated the release of her first children’s book, “We Swing, We Slide, We Laugh Outside!” and you KNOW I couldn’t let such a special milestone go by without putting my own sweet spin on it! 🍪

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes truth about decorated cookies that might surprise you…

Sometimes creating 20 cookies with 20 different designs is EASIER than creating 20 cookies with the exact SAME design! 😳

Sounds crazy, right? Let me explain!

When I’m working on multiple designs, each cookie has its own personality. But when I’m repeating the same design over and over, CONSISTENCY is everything!

Every line, every detail, every little fishy smile needs to look as close to identical as possible. And trust me, after piping the same details for what feels like the hundredth time, the struggle is REAL! 😂

There’s very little room for variation when the goal is to make every cookie look like it belongs in the same school of fish! 🐟🐟🐟

It’s one of those things that looks simple until you’re the one holding the piping bag!

But that’s part of the art of cookie decorating. Whether it’s one design repeated dozens of times or a dozen completely different designs, every cookie gets the same attention to detail. 💚
