Naturally leaved sourdough made fresh in the Brazos Valley! We let fermentation do the rest.

Using organic grains grown and milled right here in Texas, we aim to bring our community the most delicious and nutritious breads with just flour, water and salt! As we wrap up some loose ends of Brazos Bakehouse, we do still have some merch we’d love to get off our hands. These were always just a fun little thing for us to have for ourselves but if you loved our sourdough bread or our dope logo (thanks again ) then now is your chance to have BB with you forever!

We’ll be discounting all remaining goods to $10 each so grab em before they’re gone! The blue dad hat and blue t-shirt are organic cotton so that’s nice and fancy too.

It’s a tough thing to share, but Josh and I have made the hard decision to shut down Brazos Bakehouse. We will miss seeing you all from behind our booth at the . We love the market and its vendors and will continue to support it and hope you will too!

We have loved (nearly) every minute building this business and community around delicious, naturally leavened bread and feel so grateful for everything we learned and everyone we met along the way. There are a lot of factors that led us to this decision; it ultimately came down to how we want to spend our time as a family and that means letting go of running the bakehouse as a business.

While we will no longer be operating as a business or sharing things here on social media, there will still be some bakes in the future where we’ll have a limited supply of loaves up for grabs on an infrequent basis. The best way to be notified of those opportunities is getting on the email list on our website (link in bio). After a month or so we’ll probably shut the website down, so the sooner the better.

Thanks again for all of your support and excitement around sourdough. We’ll still be around to answer any questions y’all have about baking long-fermented bread cause you know we’ll still be at it in our own kitchen.

We’ve got a midweek bake for pickup this Wednesday available for preorder! DM us today if you want a loaf!

And thanks for your patience this summer with us being gone from the much more than we anticipated.

We are planning to be back not this Saturday, but next Saturday so we’ll see you then!

We’re big hat people so of course had to have another option aside from the classic dad hat.

As always, sporting the bison, the coolest animal ever to roam North America + a lil BB on the back for the brand.

We will not be at the tomorrow but we WILL be doing a midweek bake next week to hook you up before we head out of town Thursday. These will be preorder only, so DM us by Monday to get on the list!

Pickup will be next Wednesday in Bryan.

Sorry to miss y’all tomorrow but make sure you still stop by the market as it’s the first Saturday of the month and you can win a bunch of free goods!

Next Saturday we’ll be out of town for Memorial Day Weekend, so if you’re nervous about getting caught without sourdough in the freezer it’s a good idea to stock up tomorrow.

It’s been a while since we said anything about it but we have super soft Brazos Bakehouse t-shirts for sale! If you’d like one check out the link in our bio which will take you to the right place.

It may not matter to everyone, but we’re happy that they’re made of organic cotton and non-toxic dyes which aligns with our personal and company values of regenerating soil health rather than depleting it, following the example of the 30 million bison who created the fertile soils of North America 🦬.

With that, we’d love to get any purchases to our locals without unnecessary shipping, so please message us and we’ll find a way to get it to you :)
