🍩❤️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT — MONDAY HOURS ❤️🍩

For the last three years, we have closed on Mondays throughout the summer to give our team a much-needed day off to rest, reset, and prepare for the week ahead.

As we continue adjusting to life in our new building, we’re realizing that every season is going to be a little different—and there is still so much for us to learn about operating in this new space.

Because of that, our plan is to remain CLOSED on Mondays for at least our first full year in the new building.

Having Mondays gives us a dedicated day for meetings, training, cleaning, maintenance, catching up behind the scenes, and giving our team a chance to reset after a very busy week.

After we’ve experienced a full year and every season in our new home, we can reevaluate what makes the most sense moving forward.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we continue learning, growing, and settling into our new home. ❤️🍩

🍩❤️ A Little Donut Land Behind-the-Scenes… ❤️🍩

I want to take a moment to give you a little insight into what goes on behind those showcases every day!

We are a family-owned, “mom and pop” donut shop. Everything you see in our cases is homemade, hand coated, hand filled, and hand frosted by the people you see working behind the counter and behind the scenes. There are no big machines magically spitting out finished donuts back there (although some days we wish there were! 😂).

Our team is truly a mix of generations—ranging from high schoolers to grandmothers. Employees who have spent years mastering their skills, and new hires who are working incredibly hard to learn the MANY varieties we offer.

Training in a shop like ours takes weeks, months, and honestly, sometimes years! And along the way, mistakes are bound to happen. ❤️

We know mistakes can be frustrating, and we will always do our best to make them right. But we also ask that you please give our team a little grace. A mistake should never result in one of our employees being on the receiving end of anger, disrespect, or condescension.

We can never promise perfection—but we can absolutely promise that we care. We care about the donuts we make, the people who make them, and the customers we make them for. 🍩💞

Just a reminder that Donut Land is CLOSED on Mondays!

We’re open 24 hours from Tuesday at midnight until Sunday at 4 p.m. (unless we sell out early). On Mondays, we’re still adjusting to our BIG building, training, and prepping for fall and winter. Those things are pretty difficult to do when you're open 24/7 and when you have a city that loves donuts this much! 💞

We do not sell Donut Land merchandise inside the shop, but you can order it online at donutlandohio.com! You can have it shipped directly to your home, pick it up from KeyProfits, OR have it sent here for pickup…which gives you a pretty good excuse to grab some donuts while you're here. 😎🍩
