For my mom’s birthday yesterday I recreated the cookies that started it all. Two years go I tried my hand at baking and decorating sugar cookies for my mom’s birthday. All of my family & friends convinced me these cookies were worth sharing with you all. I think we can all agree I have developed my royal icing skills 😅 Practice does indeed matter when it comes to decorating cookies. Check out the last picture to see the first cookies I ever made; mind you I totally copied someone’s designs off of Pinterest & didn’t even know what opportunities would come from that first set.

I hope you all love the new ones I designed and created for my mom. Of course I used the originals as inspo, but made them our own. 🫶🏼

To my mom, happy birthday Momma. Thank you for supporting and encouraging me 1000% percent of the way. From letting me use your entire kitchen and every table in the house to helping me tune in designs to staying up late with me rolling out my dough. Cookies by Tory wouldn’t exist without you. I love ya 🫶🏼
