The ovens are back on!
After an inspiring vacation filled with baking workshops in Paris and Germany, today was our test-bake day -and everything turned out great! From French croissants and pain au chocolat to German Brötchen and Sourdough Bagels, we can’t wait to share these with you.
We’re reopening Tuesday, and hope to see you soon!

Continuing to learn from some of the best bakers whenever I get the chance!
During my time in Germany, I attended a workshop all about Brötchen and Bagels. Great recipes, great techniques, and lots of inspiration to take back to Texas. Thank you Christoph .de for an excellent workshop and for sharing so many valuable tips and tricks.
Looking forward to bringing these new techniques back to our Bakery in Texas!

One of the highlights of my trip to Paris was attending a private pastry workshop .patisserie 🇫🇷🥐
Thank you Chef Leo, for such an inspiring day and for sharing so much knowledge and experience.

At Pan de Cada Dia in Brownsville, patrons can find German pastries in a town full of panaderías.

Opened in February 2024 by Jennie Bäckmann, whose German heritage is infused in her baked goods, the store became a favorite of locals who quickly warmed to the bakery’s European-inspired offerings.

The shop offers pudding pretzels, Danish-like obstplunder made with laminated dough, Nutella twists crafted from German puff pastry, sourdough croissants, and, around Christmastime, Elisenlebkuchen.
