A new sourdough starter in the making. 🌾

It’s been a while since I have started one from scratch, but we are getting back to it and getting ready for this new chapter of LeAnn Kay Bakery.

This little jar will eventually be behind our fresh sourdough, lots of sweet treats, and of course… those Kay Buns I’m already so excited about. 🌿

For now, we feed her, watch her grow, and patiently wait for all that bubbly sourdough goodness. 🤎

It’s been a while… and a LOT has changed. 🌿

It’s been almost two years since I’ve posted here, but with a big move and a fresh start ahead, it felt like the perfect time to dust off this little page and introduce LeAnn Kay Bakery all over again.

Our family will be making our way to Brownsboro, Texas, and with this new chapter, I’m finally bringing a dream I’ve had to life — my own little farm stand.

LeAnn Kay Bakery will be a place for fresh sourdough, homemade sweets, seasonal treats, and the occasional farm-fresh eggs and veggies when available. I’ll be starting with pre-orders as we get settled and eventually opening our little roadside stand.

I’ve also been working on something completely my own — a signature LeAnn Kay Bakery treat that I’m SO excited to introduce soon. I have a feeling you’re going to love them. 👀
