I’ve been testing this recipe for whole wheat sourdough sandwich bread and it’s amazing! The ingredients are: freshly milled whole wheat, organic all purpose flour, Celtic salt, raw honey and a little organic butter. It’s light and fluff. Full of flavor. Great for sandwiches, toast or along side your meal. (Slathered in butter of course)

Sourdough is easier to digest and contains more protein than our enriched breads available in stores. It is also better for those, like me, who experience blood sugar spikes with processed carbs.

Trying my hand at wild yeast sourdough baking and milling my own flour. There’s always a learning curve with new skills.

So far the English muffins are a big hit with Andy! He loves hearty breakfast sandwiches. This whole wheat sandwich bread came out a little dense and yet it’s still awesome. I’ll keep you updated 😉 and we’ll do this together.

There’s something about this slow process that never gets old. It doesn’t get in a rush. It’s pretty laid back and forgiving. Maybe that’s why it’s soooo delicious!! 😋

IF God is real … then what? The theme of this event, reminds women that because God is indeed who He says He is we in turn have a job to do on Earth: tell others about Him.

This reminder grabbed our hearts and still rings strong. The evidence is seen as women walk out the call to share and reflect the love of Christ in their everyday activities and lives.

I have a strong love for the women of Youngsville Community Church and was thrilled to contribute a little joy through these cookies.

Day four … risen rolls popped in the oven for a long low bake … mix and package frosting … finish off with nice neat packaging when rolls cool and they’re lined up and ready to go!

After a post holiday break from cinnamon rolls, I’m grateful for a large order this week.

The process takes four days! Monday starter got fed and today the dough is mix and set to rise till tomorrow … stay tuned … two days to go.

So, I discovered that most of my friends don’t know how to use the Stories on Facebook. If you follow someone, the stories appear at the top of your screen. You can also access them by clicking on the profile button at the top of a post. If you find that you’re not seeing my posts in a timely manner … follow, like, share … etc. you gotta play the algorithm game at least a little. It is time consuming to jump in all the way though.
