Ms. Jae found it interesting when I shared the story behind my cookies' unique appearance. I had casually mentioned it in conversation, but I never thought it really mattered to others. To me, it's a personal touch; I think about it when shaping my cookies, loving their imperfections and delicious taste. Even my stuffed cookies will have a crack or dent, showing off their handmade nature. When my daughters assemble them, I advise them, 'Don't you dare roll that dough.' I prefer them to be imperfectly perfect, because who’s perfect anyways. One of my proudest achievements in business is fostering love, trust, and friendship. Every person who walked through our doors felt a sense of belonging; never feeling like a stranger. While we are a for-profit business, we're also driven by a sense of community, friendship, partnership, and loyalty. We aren’t perfect, but we strive to be our best selves. Just like our cookies!
