Yesterday was my birthday and Tyler Orlando made me a 10 inch Christine cake. A Christine cake is a four layer cake. The bottom layer is the chocolate cake topped with chocolate fudge. The next layer is a vanilla cake, topped with vanilla cream, then another layer of chocolate cake topped with chocolate cream covered by another layer of vanilla cake. The entire cake is covered with buttercream icing that has chocolate and vanilla jimmies. Then the top was accented with fudge and buttercream ribbons. The cost of this cake would be $55 if you would be interested in purchasing one.

ORLANDO'S BAKERY is located in the Original Bagel store on West Chester pike in broomall. For all of the people who live in broomall, havertown and drexel hill area and have been looking for a great Italian rum cake compared to Testa's in havertown I have found it for you. We have tried several of the best bakeries in south Philly and we even have gone as far as Willow Grove and nothing compared until today. The only complaint I have is that it was a little heavy on the rum flavoring but I think that is because we got it fresh this morning. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. They even sell a giant slice for 10.00 so you can try it for yourself. Warning call ahead because they sell out fast. Bravo Orlando's
