Our bread and pastry are available Wednesday through Saturday, here at the bakery 9:00AM-1:00PM, as well as at The Blue Hill Wine Shop, the Blue Hill Food Co-Op, 44 North in Deer Isle. Pizza is available for take-out and outdoor dining on Tuesday through Friday 5pm-8pm. Check out our posts for the current menu, reservations required. The brightgreenness of everything is getting overwhelming, folks. Our menus are trying to offer some tastes of the blossoming hope of spring, with rhubarb, fiddleheads, spruce tip sodas, asparagus and so much more. Take a look, and come visit! We’re serving breakfast at the bakery on Wednesday & Saturday 9AM-noon, and Pizza on Friday & Saturday, 4:30-8:00. We’ll be slowly adding days onto the schedule over the month of June. RHUBARB FOR YOU!!! We’ve been raiding our prolific supple of rhubarb plants here on the property and sprinkling it in everywhere. Fresh made rhubarb soda ~ rhubarb danish ~ rhubarb jam ~ we’re in love ❤️‍🔥 weather looks like it’s holding out tonight for outdoor eating, or you could have takeout. Give us a call for pizza! Are there any bakers out there looking for a wee sabbatical to one of the most beautiful places on earth? Our seasonal summer team is missing one more player. Who’s it going to be?? 🔥 We’re looking for a baker with experience with sourdough bread and maybe laminated pastry too, who’s willing to jump onto a production team—it looks like early morning bakes (with a recommended afternoon ocean plunge recovery protocol) in a multi-generational crew at a family-run tiny rural bakery. 🏡 It’s called vacationland for a reason, and the summertime in coastal Maine is ALL WORK & ALL PLAY. The position runs mid/late June through Labor Day—tho it could extend through the end of Sept if desired. Involves hard work, tight spaces, friendly teammates, not enough walk-in space, fairly uncontrollable room temperatures, wiley East Coast flour, stamping bread bags, and high expectations. It’s magnolia madness on the menus this week 🌸❤️‍🔥 and we love you so mucus we brought in 56 lbs of asparagus from Hadley “the asparagus capital of the world”, MA.
Some notes: we’re still in a hybridized not-quite-summer schedule moment. Brunch is over 😭 but some impeccable Wednesday and Saturday cafe menu jewels remain. And pizza! We’ve been having some glorious outside dining opportunities with some glorious extra menu offerings. The soft serve shack is still getting tuned up, so you’ll have to get some home-spun variations from the minds of our dessert team. What a life!!!

Hello friends! Check out these big SPRING menus for the week! Espresso is BACK. ✨ Pizza is almost all the way back to our summer system—no soft serve quite yet, but soon! 🚨MENU ANNOUCEMENT🚨 Hey friends, THIS WEEK is our LAST WEEK of our extra-fun table-service winter-style PIZZA, so COME AND GET IT!! Starting on May 8th we’re switching back to our summerish counter service & a slightly more simplified menu for our pizza nights. Nothing is *ending* per se, but we want to be able to open our doors on beautiful evenings (only when they happen ofc, we know spring in Maine takes approximately 3,000 years and it will probably snow again, yes) and have you outside as much as you like, and not feel the confines of our limited barn seating. So… summer here we come. BUT FOR THIS WEEK, LOOK AT THESE MENUS!! SPRING GOODNESS IS EVERYWHERE, IT IS FULLY OVERWHELMING. Come be overwhelmed with us, we miss you we love you. The rest of the photos in this post are in deep appreciation for our incredible friend Emily who has spent the last few years heading up our pastry department. Today is her last day working with us—luckily she’s not going too far and hopefully we can all find her pastries soon in the midcoast. ✨ In the midst of the many many MANY outrageously talented and beautiful people who pour themselves into making Tinder Hearth what it is, Emily has been shining in her dedication to the craft of pastry, bringing beautiful edible art to you all for years. Thank you THANK YOU, Emily, for sharing your passion, compassion, creativity, insight and early morning hours with us all. We are so lucky. We wish you all the best, and will miss you terribly here in Brooksville. ❤️‍🔥
