Coming up on ONE year of SugarCoded.NYC! How excitinggg 😬

If you’re thinking about starting a sugar cookie business — or honestly any business — here are 3 things I’d tell you:

1. Just start. Everyone is out here googling things, watching TikToks, and hoping for the best. Start before you feel “ready.” You learn so much by actually doing. Your products, photos, prices, and packaging will evolve over time — and that’s okay.

2. Consistency matters more than perfection. Showing up regularly, improving little by little, and staying committed will take you further than waiting for everything to be perfect.

3. Protect your peace and avoid comparison. People only see the pretty cookies… not the midnight decorating sessions, last-minute supply runs, and mental breakdown over one air bubble. Your Price is your price! It’s easy to compare yourself to businesses that have been doing this for years. Focus on YOUR growth, your customers, and your journey.

This first year taught me so much, and I’m so grateful for everyone who supported my small business along the way 🤍
