It was a little bit of a busier weekend for me with a few kids parties and one last minute request that I ended up just loving.

Sometimes simple is key 👌🏼 it’s actually a lot harder to reel in a design than to just go crazy and go for it.

3 layers of 6-inch chocolate sponge
Creamy whipped peanut butter frosting

Basic but most delicious cake for my father in laws 60th birthday!

Chocolate sponge filled with whipped dark chocolate ganache. Outside frosted with chocolate fudge frosting.

He thinks buttercream is too sweet, so I did it without… and after this weekend I may be jumping on the non-buttercream train.
