Bozena's Cakes and more Home made, from scratch cakes, cupcakes and cookies. I only use fresh ingredients. Gluten free option available for those with gluten sensitivity.

Frostings are made out of 100% butter and only fresh fruit is used in my frostings for fillings. Welcome to my page! My name is Maja and I'm the lady behind the baking goods. I started baking back in 2009 when I made my first birthday cake for my son’s 1st birthday. Over the years I’ve perfected my baking skills, discovered many amazing recipes and learned a great amount of skill sets that is need

ed in creating art. I was encouraged by friends, neighbors and family to start sharing my talent with others.... so, 3 years ago I decided to start selling my cakes just to friends. Today I'm here pouring my heart into every single baking good I create as it is truly my passion. I am an engineer during the day and a baker after-hours and on the weekends. My baking goods include ingredients that one can pronounce. I only use organic flour (it has just the right amount of gluten in it) and always use 100% butter (no Crisco in my frostings). I LOVE designing cakes that allow me to show my creativity - you provide me with a theme and I'll design the cake to fit your needs. A little background on me and the name of my bakery. I was born and raised in Poland. Came to America when I was 15 years old. Went to high school and Marquette University where I got my Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. I’ve been working as an engineer since 2005. Since my life was consumed by my school, I never had any interest in cooking or baking. My mom on the other hand was a phenomenal cook and baker. It was her life long dream to open up a place in the culinary business. Unfortunately, her dream was cut short when she passed away in 2009. I made a promise to my mom that I will learn how to cook, but went even further and learned how to bake. I chose my mom’s name for my bakery to honor my mom and to help her fulfill not only her dream but my passion for baking as my baking skills were truly a gift from her. This is to my mom – Bozena ❤️

8" chocolate cake with cherry kirsch and cream fudge/caramel filling. All covered in cotton candy flavored pink Swiss meringue buttercream. Topped with vanilla swirled buttercream and maraschino cherries.

I typically don't post pictures of cakes with me in them, but this was a very special cake I made for my son's confirmation.

It's a 3 tiered cake (with the top and bottom tier being eatable). The middle tier (the chapple), I made using styrofoam, coverted and decorated in fondant. MANY hours/days went into making this part of the cake, from painting with edible gold powder, to making all the details of the chapple.

The top and bottom tieres are 6" and 8" sweet cream 3 layered yellow cakes with cherry kirsch filling + cream fudge cream and pieces of cream fudge candies (kremówki) sprinkled for the light crunch. This was the bottom filling of both cakes; the top filling was my home made raspberry jam with chocolate mousse. The cakes were covered in Swiss meringue buttercream.

For the bottom tier, I used fondant to make the books (with hand paintinted the impressed writing- it's the 7 gifts of the Holy spirit in Polish); rice paper for the pages. The hydrangeas and roses were also made out of fondant. The top tier, the window trim and the dove also made out of fondant (the gold was painted with edible gold paint).

The cake was finished with my extra love spent on making a custom cake topper ✝️

This two tiered cake is made of a 6" top (eggnog flavored yellow cake layered with chocolate mousse and raspberry preserves) and an 8" bottom tier (chocolate cake with creamy caramel filling and cherry-kirsch). All is covered in vanilla/sweet cream Swiss meringue buttercream.
Decorations consists of fondant, isomalt (for the liquid effects), custom 3D cake topper, a toy car).

The order is completed with carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and carrot shavings 🥕

I'm taking a temporary break from taking orders due to medical issues, but I'm already looking forward to 2026 and a fresh start.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my hobby; I'm grateful for your understanding and excited to come back stronger than ever. ❤️
