Why Bex Lotti?

That has been asked numerous times, and I want to touch on that. Bex, is short for Bexley and Lotti is just a gorgeous name.

Without getting into too much detail, infertility is more and more common, especially in my generation. Call me a conspiracy theorist but there was somthing in those pre natals our mamas were takin’.

Anyway, I have had Bexley picked out for years, it was going to be the name of my daughter. Lotti, was simple. I was reading older names and fell in love. So, Bex Lotti is in honor of a precious child that was not in my cards.

Meet your baker… the queen of a car selfie 😅…

Most of the time you’ll find me in an oversized shirts and shorts/leggings. Pants with buttons are hard and no one has time for that. I was making a TikTok series for awhile “hoe you got food at the house”. I believe in one of my videos I specially said “people that bake for a living wake up and choose violence”. I think I’ve kinda grown since then.

I have been in the baking trenches since I was a child. My grandma used to bake up a storm. She was famous for a lot, but mostly her pies. I’m dabbling a very tiny bit in that area, but haven’t made the full commitment. I took about a 15 year hiatus from the baking world. I used to think it was to time consuming… well it is, but it’s peaceful. A lemon blueberry loaf, two years ago, convinced me I may not be the worst ever. So, after a very large life change, and my exit from the corporate world, here I am. When you are thrust into the unknown, you have to hustle hard. I am choosing to channel my inner Goldie Marie and roll dough til the cows come home.

My family is a driving force and huge support system. They all want to see me succeed. I will choose them each and every day. That is why I have made this decision. I took a hobby and am making it a dream. A manageable dream. I say manageable, because I am still searching for my new place in the cooperate world, but decided it is time to make my dreams come true.

Also, I am not a professional, by any means. I will say sometimes it is going to taste better than it looks. I am still diligently working on the esthetics… so if you get a cinnamon roll the size of your head and one the size of your eyeball… just know that I know.

Thank you all for being here and getting to know me, a little better. I am excited for this journey with you.

Hey all!!! Thank you for joining and following me on this journey! It has been a very busy first week and I cannot wait to see what is to come.

Please reach out if you are interested in any product on the menu. I will be set up at Union Station (in Uniontown, KS) Wednesday 11/19. I will also be at Bronson Locker on Monday 11:17. I will not have all menu items available, but I will have a variety of the favorites.
