Every year in the fall / winter I set out to perfect a recipe to add to my wheelhouse. I make the item over and over and over again tweaking the recipe slightly until I'm confident it is the best it can absolutely be. I've conquered pie crust and fillings galore, French macaroons, countless cake varieties, and last year coconut macarons. I'm ready to dust off my notebook and begin again and fill my home with the warm and welcoming scents of gingerbread. Batch 1 is currently in the oven! Cheers to trial and error and the countless gingerbread cookies in our future.
