This was when I was making the filling for the german chocolate cake. I still have a bowl of the leftover filling in my fridge ready to be snacked on!

1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup brown sugar
3 egg yolks
½ cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cups sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
Pinch of salt

In saucepan combine: evaporated milk, brown sugar, egg yolks, butter
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened (10–15 min). Should coat the spoon like pudding. Remove from heat
Stir in: vanilla, coconut, pecans, salt
Cool completely before using

Super simple!

🎶Guess who's back.. back again.. Moonrise is back... tell your friends.. 🎶 That's right! Moonrise Bakery is back in Greeley for the Finders Keepers Market June 20th from 9am to 2pm! We'll have macarons and fresh sourdough goodies like bagels, brownies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and of course, bread!! I'm also hoping to have some samples! Been spending some time with my momma for her birthday! She lives 3 to 4 hours away from me so I have been staying with her. We took a drive up Skyline Drive in Cañon City. I am terrified of heights but it was definitely super pretty (mom was recirding while I drove)
