Ya know, when you're young and buy a house, you are excited that your payments usually will stay around the same instead of increasing so much like rent does. Some small increase is expected due to insurance and property taxes. But good lord, we never expected things to double and triple in price making our mortgage payment jump up like crazy. And do increased wages help level that out? Noooooo. I really don't know how some people are doing it on their own. Our mortgage has gone up by almost 600 dollars while our wages stay relatively the same. I love Colorado and have been here my entire life. But man, I am over how expensive things keep getting. One of the many many reasons we decided not to have kids. Not only would I be worried about affording it but also everything they will have to go through when they are older.

So my macarons just have it out for me I guess. Burnt the hell out of myself with my big sheet pan when taking them out of the oven last night. Then today during set up, the whole damn tub full of them fell out of my hands and broke about half of them 😩. Can't be a baker without scars!

Our first porch pop up stand is complete!! Thank you so very much to everyone who came out today ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!! Your support means the world to me! I'd say it went pretty dang well, but I do have some extras! Let me know if you're interested and I am willing to deliver for a small fee depending on location!
