Hi friends!

I have a little unexpected life update to share. Because life loves to keep things exciting, my Farm Stand restock and this week’s Friday drop at Southpaw Meat Market will not be happening. I’m officially starting maternity leave effective immediately.

Baby and I are both doing well — he’s just planning to make his arrival a little sooner than expected, and we’ll be welcoming our sweet baby boy very soon. 💙

Thank you for all the support, sold-out weekends, and love you’ve shown my little microbakery. It truly means the world to our family. The ovens will be taking a break while we soak up those first newborn weeks, and I’ll share updates when I know when sourdough will be back.

Wow… you guys SOLD OUT the Farm Stand this weekend! 🍞🤍

I’m honestly so grateful for the amazing support from this community. Seeing people stop by, grab bread, and support my little sourdough microbakery means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for showing up and making the very first weekend such a success!

Don’t worry if you missed out — I’ll be restocking the Farm Stand every weekend.

The weekend of April 3rd will be my last restock for a little while as I take some time off to welcome our second baby boy into the world. 💙

After a long winter break, the stand is officially reopening this weekend and I’m so excited to start filling it with fresh sourdough again!

For the next few weeks, I’ll be restocking the Farm Stand every Friday, Saturday & Sunday leading up to maternity leave. My last weekend restock will be April 3rd, but I’ll be sure the stand is stocked that weekend too so you can grab your favorites before I take a little baking break to welcome baby. 🤍

My last day baking and restocking will now be April 3rd instead of April 10th as we get ready to welcome baby boy #2 💙 Thank you all for the continued love and support — it truly means the world to my family and my little bakery.

👉✨ Important Update: Maternity Leave Starts April 3rd for Baked with Lizzie ✨

As many of you know, this past year has been full of surprises, pivots, and so much growth — both personally and professionally. With that said, the time has come for me to press pause for a very special reason 🤍

As I prepare to welcome my second baby boy into the world, my sourdough micro-bakery will be temporarily closing after April 3rd. This means I will not be restocking Southpaw Meat Market , taking pre-orders, or stocking the Farm Stand for a short while as I soak up this season with my growing family.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for supporting me through every unexpected turn of pregnancy, every curveball life threw my way, and every loaf baked with love along the way. This community has given me more than just support — it has given me the ability to stay home, and raise my babies while doing something I truly love. I wouldn’t be here without you.

I also want to give the biggest thank you to Niki, Devon, Hayden, Noelle, and the entire Southpaw Meat Market team. Thank you for believing in me, giving me another opportunity, and continuing to support my dreams and endeavors. I truly would not be here today without your continued encouragement and support.

This isn’t goodbye — just a see you soon 🥖💙 I’ll be back before you know it (because let’s be honest… I can only stay away from baking for long 😉).
