This weekend was like a dream come true...My heart is full! All of you reminded me why I started this in the first place, the farewell party was how I imagined everyday being in the beginning.. just pure joy, community & doing what I love. Seeing all of these kids find BABY pics of them on the wall and now they are almost taller than me was the highlight of my night.. ill share some of those later😂

If you are joining us this weekend for our Farewell party feel free to bring your favorite box of cake mix (one per family). Doesn't matter the brand doesn't matter the flavor.. we will show them kids how to make it into a cookie dough similar to the loaded cookies we made in store.. and send them back home with the dough to bake. We will have some baking workshops and a way for them to create a treat they can be proud of. The event is a "swing by when you can" event, you dont have to stay a certain amount of time, you dont have to bring cake mix ... its completely optional but if you do we will have the other ingredients for you. Can't wait to see you all. Keep in mind the party password will be posted on this page the day of. We want to keep it to just you guys vs people passing by.

The past 6 years have been filled w/ so many memories & the past year as we've been custom order only has been nothing short of AMAZING. The support for the 5 years prior has been amazing, I (Destiney) took this chance & have no regrets because its an amazing chapter in my story however it was so difficult being a wife/mother/social media influencer along with all the obligations of the bakery. Two times the first few years I had to turn down amazing opportunities to compete in cake competitions, one of them was abroad just because the bakery couldn't really run for more than a day or two without me.

For all those years EVERY SINGLE CAKE.. was completed by me an average of 700 cakes a year being open 5 days a week. It was draining but I love what I do and I loved all of you. I did have a truly amazing staff they baked, made all your favorite daily treats , helped with as much as they could but I definitely sacrificed taking care of myself, my family to live my dream and Im grateful for every one of you that have followed us along the way.
I was a content creator 1st, I love to teach and show people how to make cakes themselves there are not many businesses that can go to custom orders only in a storefront and still thrive and survive so I am so thankful for what I do that has not only always made sure we met financial goal but also aquired brand deals with companies like Wilton, Monégasque Luster Dust, Cake Art and so many more. So Im saying all of that to say, this is not a sad goodbye. I had an amazing opportunity fall in my lap and we are moving out of state so we will not be renewing our lease (as most of you know, we've been extremely unhappy in this space).

We just wanted to have an opportunity to see your lovely faces again before we pack up. Custom orders are booked through February and after that last order we are going to officially start packing so before then.. come see us on the 13th, stop by anytime between *2pm-5pm*. We will have free treats (nothing for sale).. giveaways.. baking workshop for the kiddos, we came up with some easy ways to make some of your favorite things from the store at home..(get recipes). The kids can also bring one box of their favorite cake mix (one per family) and we will show them how to make it into a cookie dough that kinda taste like our loaded cookies. (We will provide all the other ingredients).. sorry for the long winded invite 😂 Thanks for sticking around. We will upload the secret password on this page the day of. Its not open to the public..just you guys 🥰
