Cheeseburger Casserole

2 lbs. ground beef
1 large onion š§
, diced
5 garlic cloves, š§ diced
1 -2 bell peppers, diced
Seasoning:
2 tbsp. Cumin
1 tbsp. Paprika Smoked or regular,
1 tbsp. Kosher salt
2 tbsp. Black pepper
2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, (optional if you like spicy, donāt use it you donāt like spicy)
2 tsp. Curry powder
3 bay leaves
8 oz. Cream cheese
4 oz. sour cream
Shredded Cheese (Absolutely your choice!) but mozzarella is a must
Instructions:
Have a casserole baking dish ready. Thereās not really much needed to grease your pan because thereās enough fat already. If you must, just use nonstick aluminum foil.
In a medium high heated skillet, brown your ground beef. The meat should have enough natural fat that you shouldnāt need any extra oils for your pan.
Once completely browned and broken up, try to drain off excess grease. Return meat to heat, add in your diced/minced onion, bell peppers, and garlic. SautƩ until onions are translucent.
Add in your seasonings, taste as you go. Taste test the salt level. Once everything is completely seasoned and combined, add in the cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until completely incorporated. Add in bay leaves, turn to low, and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes.
Grab your baking dish, pour beef mixture into it. Flat out evenly, sprinkle on your cheese. I used three different cheeses for this particular dish, gruyere, smoked Gouda, and fresh mozzarella. You can use pre-made shredded cheese if you want. However, if youāre on keto, donāt use it because shredded cheese usually has cornstarch on it. So it doesnāt clump up.
Anyways, bake at 350° F for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and gooey. š Enjoy!

You can use whatever seasonings you want or whatever you already have on hand. Make this the way you want it. Just use the instructions as a blueprint. Itās all the ingredients are up to you. God bless and enjoy!!!!
