Hello Facebook friends, its been a minute since I've posted and I'm sorry for that. Life got a little heavy after I had to put my dog, Lady down in June, her sudden death was really hard to recover from, and then in August i had to lay my bearded dragon, Larry to rest which was another tough experience. My animals are such a big part of my world that I needed to take some time to be with my family to heal and regroup before I opened my kitchen back up. I love you all and thank you for hanging in there with me. Your support means more than you know, and I’m so grateful for this community. Here’s to new beginnings, healing, and getting back to doing what I love; spreading love and baking for my community! 💖

🌧️ Bridgeport Market Postponed to June 21 ☀️

We’re making a slight shift in plans! Due to rain in the forecast all week and the upcoming Father’s Day weekend, the Bridgeport Market originally scheduled for Saturday, June 14 will now be held on Saturday, June 21.

We want to give our vendors, food trucks, and shoppers the best chance for a sunny, fun-filled day — and this new date will help make that happen! 🌞🛍️🍔

This gives us extra time to line up even more amazing vendors and food trucks for a market day you won’t want to miss.

Hello friends! 💙 Oh how it feels good to be baking again! Took a little longer than six weeks to get back on my feet after having my hysterectomy but we’re baking again! 😍🙌🏻
I don’t have any markets planned for May, but I will keep you all posted as we get closer to June what markets I will be at and hopefully see some of y’all! However I am taking orders for porch pickup again if you would like to place an order, just send me a message. 💙 My menu is posted to my page but I can also send it your way if you’d like. All orders are baked when they are placed to provide ultimate freshness and pickup is flexible for your convenience. 🫶

Made some biscuits today for sausage breakfast sandwiches; i wish y’all could smell them. 🥰 Thinking these would make a great addition to my menu as well!

Well friends, it’s with a heavy heart but unfortunately I will not be making it to the Bridgeport Market tomorrow. 😭 I was diagnosed with endometriosis almost 6 years ago and it has been a wild ride to say the least. March also happens to be Endometriosis Awareness Month, if you have never heard of endometriosis it is an inflammatory disease that affects 1 in 10 women where tissue similar to the uterine lining (endometrium) grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, pain, and manyyy other symptoms. I thought I could make this market happen before I succumb to the side effects of my monthly cycle, but she came a whole week early… I’m so sad because I was really looking forward to getting out to my first market of 2025 and meeting more of my neighbors here in Bridgeport, BUT we will stay positive. 💙 I have a hysterectomy scheduled for next Thursday, after already having two laparoscopy’s and an oophorectomy of my right o***y, and once I am healed I will be back and better than ever!! 🙌🏻
I did prep my Chocolate Chip cookie dough, French Bread dough, Dutch Oven Bread dough, Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Focaccia Bread dough and Garlic and Herb Focaccia dough which are fermenting in the fridge. Those will get will get baked tomorrow afternoon if anyone would like to pickup some fresh baked goods, just send me a message. 💙
I hope you all still go check out the Bridgeport Market tomorrow though, it should be great with all the other vendors they have set to be there! 💙

Late post, my bad y’all! Holy cow though because these cinnamon rolls are already almost gone! They came out phenomenal, and definitely remind me of a state fair cream cheese cinnamon roll! Stay tuned for when I add these to my menu. 🤗💙
