Every year as we approach the week of July 4, my busiest week of the year, I have a little anxiety as to how me and my team are going to pull it off. But every year, God provides me with exactly what I need to make it happen! This year, we baked 1490 regular size loaves, 325 mini loaves, and 140 single layer cakes! That was for the whole week. Absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have done it without this amazing staff!
These pictures were taken on Monday, July 7. My mom, who had been my main person that tied and labeled the bows on my bread for the last five years, worked her last day on Monday, July 7 when I took this picture. I am heartbroken to say that she unexpectedly died on Tuesday, July 8. The many employees that have worked with her over the last 5 years can attest to her spunkiness and humor that she added to the workplace. To say she will be missed is an understatement…
