It was a busy baking day yesterday! Mocha Chocolate cake with candied walnuts, Blackberry Cobbler, Molasses Bran muffins and Morning Glory muffins, two kinds of scones, and a New York Cheesecake. I love the challenge when someone asks “can you make…?”

Mardi Gras is coming quickly, and that means it is time for King Cake! The King Cake from Small Batch Bakery is only available locally and for a limited time. It is over 2.5 #'s of pure decadence! Sweet yeast dough generously stuffed with chopped roasted pecans, raisins, cinnamon, sugar and butter, topped with icing and classic Mardi Gras purple, green and gold sugar. This cake is ready to party! It comes ready to serve on a gold cake board, and has a baby that you can either display or insert for some lucky person to find in their piece. Cake serves 12-16 slices.

The King Cake is $35 + tax, and will be ready for delivery/pickup Feb 16th - 19th. If you need any other date please contact me. Free delivery within 10 miles, or we can make arrangements for pick up.
