Hello sweet friends! It is with a sad heart I'm announcing that I will be closing Sweet Violet Baking Company. The reasons to stop just became greater than the reasons to keep going. I wanted to express my love and grattitude for you all, your support has meant so much to me. Starting a small food business from scratch has been quite a ride and I've learned so much, greatest of all more confidence in myself and what I can accomplish! Thank you for all of the baking success stories you've shared with me these past few years. That's really what it was all about for me and made my heart happy ❤️

With that said, I would like to go out with a bang and get you all the mixes you would like one last time! We will be selling through the end of May. Our website will always be open for shipping orders and we will open up for local orders the 8th (this coming Monday) and the 22nd. Supply on all flavors available is limited, once they're gone, they're gone, so order early for best selection!

Strawberries and Cream cookies make the perfect spring/summer treat! You can make these with either our Vanilla Bean Sugar Cookie Mix or our Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix (sans chocolate chips).
Just add about 1/2 c. chopped freeze-dried strawberries (I get mine at Trader Joe's or Target) and 1 cup of white chocolate chips! I like to save some strawberry bits to press onto the tops of the cookies when they come out of the oven to give them that bright red pop of color.

Ordering is opening up on Monday for local pick-up and shipping within California!

We know you have a lot of options when it comes to baking mixes, so what makes us special? Our ingredients, technique, and finely tuned recipes! We've searched high and low for the highest quality ingredients because we know from experience, superior ingredients yield superior cakes and cookies! Our ingredient lists are short for good reason, we use the same ingredients your Grandma used! No added preservatives, no long lists of things you can't even pronounce. No weird powdered products that have no business being processed! No added dyes.
All of our mixes start off with a base of the best and highest quality flour and sugars we can find. Our cocoa and chocolate chips are Guittard, a brand we have been using for years in our kitchens due to their superior textures and flavors. We used sea salt harvested in France, and our favorite ingredient- real ground vanilla beans! We hope you'll try one of our gourmet baking mixes soon so you can taste the difference!

Brownies and cookies are a match made in heaven! These "Brookies" are super quick and easy with our Triple Chocolate and Chocolate Chip Cookie mixes! Prepare each mix as directed on package and then mash them together to bake, so delicious!

This adorable Easter cookie pizza is so easy to make with our Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix!

Preheat oven to 325.
Prepare chocolate chip cookie mix according to package directions.
Line a pie dish (I used glass) with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Press dough evenly into pan.
Bake for approximately 23-25 minutes until lightly browned.
Immediately after removing from oven, press Easter candy onto top of cookie pizza. Let cool and enjoy!

Our Lemon Cake Mix baked in a bundt pan produces a super moist and dense cake, it's so pretty! Thank you for the inspiration!

Directions for bundt cake:
Spread a thin coating of butter on the inside of a bundt pan (I use my fingers), being careful to get in all the nooks and crannies.
Pour about 1/4 cup of flour in pan and rotate around so butter is completely covered by flour. Gently shake off excess.
Prepare Mix according to directions.
Bake at 350 for approximately 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out crumb free. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Invert onto serving dish. Let cool completely.
I like to use a simple glaze of fresh squeezed lemon juice, powdered sugar, and a little milk to reach to right consistency. Enjoy!
