Creative Cakes by Amanda BY APPOINTMENT ONLY I never expected to be a baker growing up. Life had a different plan for me though. I love to bake, and cannot imagine doing anything else.

Of course I loved to help my mom make cakes and lick the frosting of the spatulas, but I was certain I was suposed to be someone else.... an archaeologist. One day I made a cake that people would not cut into because it looked to good to eat, of course I fixed that :). So I began playing with different designs, using things like a fully cooked turkey and baby blankets for my inspiration. I find it

such a satisfying experience to create something out of nothing and have it put a smile on the faces of those around me.
