Monkey Moon Challah and Pastries

Monkey Moon offers baked goods and catering, with an emphasis on our challah. Special orders available. Visit us in person at the Putney Farmer's Market!

Challah is a rich, eggy, braided bread, delicious on its own and awesome with butter, toppings, toasted, or turned into French toast. It makes fantastic croutons, bread crumbs and stuffings as well. At Monkey Moon, baking time is play time, and challah is a wonderful canvas for new ideas. The monkeys and I have created many varieties, which include traditional , Cinnamon Swirl, Pumpkin, Onion (a f

avorite), Italian (sundried tomato, oregano, basil, and garlic), Apple Pie, gluten free (by special order), and more! Ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible, and the monkeys grow all herbs used in cooking/baking. The monkeys think we should try banana challah next, but monkeys never do understand the importance of using local ingredients. They are, however, incredibly good cooks and bakers, and can bake anything. They are available for special orders and catering. We'd love to be part of your next event. Trust me. The Monkeys are awesome.
