Well… apparently I blinked and it’s September!

I know I said I was taking a little break from baking and planned to get back at it, and then… well, life happened. Again. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Between kids, rodeo, school, and just life in general, baking kept getting pushed further down the list.

But now it’s September and something about the fall decorations and pumpkin everything has me itching to get back in the kitchen. 🎃🍎🍂 Give me all the pumpkin, cinnamon, caramel, apple and cozy fall flavors!

So I’m slowly dusting off the mixer, pulling out the recipes, and getting those baking wheels turning again. I’m not promising a full bakery menu overnight because… let’s be realistic. 😂 But I do want to start making my way back to something I really love.

And as for the little Sugar Shack… she wasn’t quite the hit I hoped she’d be this summer, but once the weather cools down, I’ll be putting the roadside stand back to work!

Poppin’ Party isn’t going anywhere! I may take the scenic route getting back there, but we’re still here. 🥰

Well… this Missouri heat had other plans for us today. 🥵☀️

To make sure your treats stay fresh (and don’t melt before you even get them!), I’m going to push tomorrow’s Sugar Shack opening back to 12:00 PM.

My sweet grandpa surprised me with an air conditioner for the Sugar Shack ❤️, so I’m giving it a little extra time to cool everything down before opening. I want every cake pop, cookie, and sweet treat to be just as perfect as they should be.
