Sweet Nancy I'm Nancy and I love spending time in my kitchen. It's where I laugh, where I bake, and where I make memories! Currently at Johnson & Wales University

I'm a baker (self taught at this point)! I make pies, cakes, cookies, pastries, muffins, and so much more! I'm a southern girl, so I bake with family recipes passed down for generations…which I believe to be the best kind! I'm headed off to Johnson & Wales University to get my official education, but what I've learned in my kitchen from my Momma and Nana will never be taught at a University!

Today my brother and Katie got married, and I had the honor of making their cakes along with my friend Molly. The grooms cake is red velvet with cream cheese filling and chocolate Italian buttercream and the brides cake is vanilla, key lime, and spice cake with Italian buttercream. They were both a huge hit! Hey y'all! Sorry for the lack of posts, but here's an update on where I am: I've graduated from Johnson & Wales, and will be starting graduate school with them in the fall up in Providence, Rhode Island pursuing an MBA while working for the school. For now, I'm spending my days traveling the East Coast and eating some fabulous food!
