🎃👻 Hello, my SWEET friends! 👻🎃

We officially have a date for our pop-up at the 10th Anniversary + Halloween Party for Triple Threat Salon LLC!

📅 October 24th!

That is right around the corner… which means this baker has some planning to do! 👀🧁
But who would I be to plan a whole table of treats without letting YOU have a little say in what makes the cut?!

Over the next few weeks, you may see some posts asking for your HONEST opinions on things like:

🍰 Cake pop flavors
🧁 Types of treats
🎃 Halloween-inspired flavors
📦 Packaging
👀 And maybe a few other things I’m keeping under wraps for now…

I feel I need to get an update and a HUGE apology out to you all as I know many are probably wondering if I have just disappeared unannounced.

Last I posted, I had planned a bit of a break for February to catch up on some work and come back ready to tackle all the summer parties!
But unfortunately, life has a pretty crazy way of redirecting our plans even when we think we have it all figured out.

As some of you may know, I became a caregiver for someone who truly needed the love and care while trying to tackle doing what I love on the largest scale I could handle at the same time. For a very long time, I made it happen! Sleep or no sleep. One thing I did not account for is the curve balls life decides to send us at random that would throw everything off track for someone who is already pushing it to the limits!

Already feeling so behind, during my time away, my grandmother (who sparked my love for baking as a young girl) discovered 4 brain aneurysms, and has had 2 operations to keep them controlled. My sweet 79 year old patient, someone I very much consider my family, got very sick on my weekend off and I found her in really rough shape returning to work. I got her to the hospital where she was quickly placed on life support. I spent every day there terrified I may lose her! But her determination and strength was the most unbelievable thing I have ever witnessed! Once she returned home, I have had to work much longer days to provide the care she needs to be able to stay at home and get her health and strength back.

These events have inevitably forced me to take more time off from baking than I had ever originally planned. While I know it is the most important and impactful job and duty I will serve in life, I truly feel disappointed to let you all down, or to seem unreliable when I have fought so hard to hold it all together and continue on this wonderful journey I was so fortunate to be given!
Being vulnerable and sharing your personal life is never easy, but I feel its so important.
Transparency and honesty are huge to me and I want you all to know how much I genuinely appreciate all of you who always understand that life is unpredictable and I am just human trying to navigate it all in the best way I know how!🙏

Right now, I dont have an exact date of when I will be able to fully return to taking as many orders as before and I will have to continue to keep them to a minimum for the time being. BUT I stand on the fact that I am not giving up and the goal stays the same, getting back at it, giving you all the best version of myself, and making AMAZING treats as soon as I possibly can!🫶

Make sure you read to the end😉🩵

As some of you may know, for the last 2 years, I have been blessed with the responsibility of being a caregiver! While the job is so incredibly rewarding, I have found myself most weeks working all week, baking in the evenings, and then working all weekend occasionally pulling overnights or getting only 2-3 hours of sleep to be able bring you beautiful cakes and treats for your weekend events.

I absolutely LOVE it, and I am so beyond blessed to have had you all supporting me for nearly 5 years! But starting the new year, catching one of the awful viruses going around, trying to catch up on work, and having some unexpected family health issues, I have found myself falling a bit behind on everything and struggling to get caught up. Alot of times, replying to messages late in the night, and not even having time to get photos of my work to share with you all before I send them out the door.

So with that said, I will be taking the month of February off to catch up on work, restock some much needed baking essentials, get my supplies reorganized and just have a bit of a refresh so I can come back with renewed creativity, and continue giving you the service you deserve!
I wanted to take this time during a slightly slower season before the fun spring and summer events start up and we are in full swing!

Please dont be afraid to reach out to secure a spot for orders after february! I will get back to messages as I can!

Thank you all so much for all you have done and continue to do year after year to help me grow and continue to do what I love so much. I dont always get the opportunity to express just how genuinely grateful I am for each and every one of you and how much I truly love being able to be part of bringing joy to your events and creating special memories for you and your little ones🫶

I would love to do a small giveaway when I return in march as a huge thank you for your understanding during this time and your continuous love and support! But I want to know what YOU would like to see. Of course we could do some treats (cakepops, cupcakes, a small cake, etc) but It doesnt even have to be baked! Im open to a family movie/game night basket, self care basket, gift card, or gift certificate towards a future order! These are just a few small ideas. Please take a moment to share your ideas here in the comments and I will be taking note!🖊🩵
