Although mine probably don’t hold a candle to Ohana Cakes by Leah’s Cookie Butter Cookies, because mine are not stuffed… this first batch is now my go-to cookie. 😂 May experiment with stuffing the last batch and see how we like them. 🤤

☕️🍸 A tini bit older… 🍸☕️

This weekend’s cake almost didn’t happen!

I had an unexpectedly open weekend until earlier this week when a customer reached out hoping I could squeeze in a last-minute birthday cake for her sister-in-law. Luckily, the timing worked out perfectly… and it just so happened to be one of my favorite themes. 😍

This butter cake was decorated with varying shades of chocolate buttercream, topped with an espresso martini-inspired design, and finished with all the vintage piping details that have my heart.

And if I’m being completely honest… this cake looks suspiciously similar to the birthday cake I’ve already planned for myself in October. 😂🤎

Coffee? Check.
Chocolate? Check.
Vintage piping? Check.
A theme that’s equal parts classy and just a little bit dramatic? Absolutely.

Here’s to getting a tini bit older, one beautiful birthday cake at a time. ☕️🍸✨

Sometimes cake design conversations are very professional.

And sometimes your 2-year-old niece finds party frogs at a bookstore and decides they belong on Pop’s birthday cake.

Honestly? She was right. 😂🐸🎉

This started as a rum cake with pecans, rum glaze, and a few other design ideas.

Now it looks like four mildly inconvenienced frogs were forced to attend a birthday party they didn’t RSVP to. 😂🐸🎉

Not a single frog looks excited to be here.

They’re giving:
🐸 ‘Surprise.’
🐸 ‘Happy birthday.’
🐸 ‘This meeting could have been an email.’

And honestly? They’re perfect.

Does it make sense? Not really.

Do I laugh every time I look at it? Absolutely. 😂

💕✨ This cake was proof that turning 10 means your interests don’t have to match… they just have to make you happy. ✨💕

Emery had a vision, and that vision included:
🐱 Her tabby cat
🥎 Softball
🐍 A piebald ball python
🌈 Rainbows
☮️ Peace signs
😊 Smiley faces

And honestly? I love that for her. 😂

This adorable icon cake kept me busy until 3:00 AM, but seeing all of her favorite things come together in one cake made it worth every minute.

Inside was a 3-layer confetti cake covered in vanilla buttercream—because a cake this fun deserved a classic birthday flavor to match. 🎂✨

Happy 10th Birthday, Emery! I hope your day was every bit as colorful and unique as your cake. 💕

I’m so excited to announce something a little different and SO fun… a Cake Design Contest!

One lucky winner will have their cake idea brought to life by me 🤍

Here’s how it works:

✨ Have your child design their dream birthday cake
(use my template OR let them draw their own masterpiece!)

✨ Submit entries directly to me (DM me OR text me!)

✨ Contest will run through May 23rd!

✨ All entries will be shared for voting May 24th - May 31st, and my followers will vote by liking their favorite design 😍

✨ Winner will receive a small 2-tier cake (4” x 6”) brought to life anytime after June 1st through December 31st (based on availability)

✨ Winner will be announced June 1st!

SHE’S BACKKKK. 😂🎂

The baby is fed.
The Alani is cold(ish).
The buttercream is whipped.
And wedding season apparently waited approximately 3 minutes for my return. 🤍

This beauty was my first cake back after maternity leave, and it feels so good to be creating again.

Thank y’all for giving me time to love on my sweet baby and for coming back when I reopened. Let’s do this. ✨
