🎂🧁 “Parting is such sweet sorrow” 🧁🎂
It has been another busy and successful year for MeMe’s Cupcakes, all thanks to my wonderful customers- YOU ALL! Thank you for your orders, referrals, and positive feedback. Your support has meant so much to us. More than I can even put into words. THANK YOU just doesn’t seem to cover it.
It has been over 5 years since this journey began. It started out as making things for family and friends and blossomed into a full blown business which I was even able to do full time for quite a while. It grew completely organically and strictly from word of mouth. I have been consistently booked (other than my time off while we were building our house) and it still blows my mind sometimes how many people have trusted me to add to their celebrations and milestones in their lives. Countless birthday parties, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, baby showers, wedding showers, sobriety birthdays, work events, gender reveals etc.
I’ll be 40 in a few days 😭 and the reality of how short life is has been hitting me in the face the last few months. Making cakes and cupcakes brings me a lot of joy, especially when I see and hear the reactions of my customers, my people, my cupcake family. It also takes a lot of time. A lot of time.
With recent life events, and lots of discussion, we’ve decided to take a step back and focus less on cakes and cupcakes and more on family quality time. This was not an easy decision, but one we feel is best for our family at this time.
Over the years, your support has been invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being a part of our story. We couldn't have done it without you. 🫶🏻
We are no longer taking orders at this time. If you have an order on our books, don’t worry- we will fulfill it of course! This doesn’t mean we are gone forever haha I may offer sales from time to time or take occasional orders during less busy times of year if I get a baking itch. Lol Or if my daughter and I make things for fun I may post pictures from time to time.
