It is plum season in Hungary. I had the opportunity to pick fresh plums and dig up some fresh potatoes to make delicious plum dumplings. The secret is to cut the plum in half and fill it with sugar and cinnamon. It is heavenly!

It is called a slice of Crater. Before cutting it up it did look like craters on the cake! Chocolate cake with vanilla pudding and sweet sour cream baked on top at the very end! 😋

A babka is a sweet braided bread or cake which originated in the Jewish communities. Today mine has a chestnut mascarpone filling with chocolate chip. Absolutely fabulous!
